Sweet.
As much as I’m missing him, and it’s horrible that Mike’s away, it’s quite sweet when I get texts from him like “…also I took a picture of Berlin Lush”. N’aww.
This tour is pretty horrible though, because it’s abroad the phone calls and texts are expensive and neither of us can really afford it. I think we worked out that it doesn’t cost...

Right, so
Sunday:
Organise things in the bedroom, get rid of things.
Vacuum bedroom
Move craft box back into the wardrobe.
Cut and bleach hair.
Tidy the Kitchen floor.
Do the washing up. (two-thirds complete).
Sweep and mop.
Make a case for my netbook.
Monday:
Clean the bathroom.
Colour hair.
Sort the desk and bookcase.
Dust and vacuum.
Tuesday:
Buy stuff for pesto and brownie...

Making lists.
Lists of things I want to do or achieve before Mike gets home from tour.
I have like 4 days off this week so I really need things to keep busy. Tomorrow is mostly cleaning/organising and cutting and dyeing my hair. SUPER.
But first up, should I eat the veg crisps or the chocolate fingers first? I mean let’s face it, they’re both going down the question is in which order.

Sometimes I think about that flat we almost went for with the incredible bathroom and get really sad because something lovely like Blue Skies would be so beautiful in that free-standing bath. Or a big bottle of Glogg in the giant corner shower.
It was the best bathroom for a Lush employee. Sigh.

For the last couple of weeks Mike and I have been joking about starting a blog called “So you’re an adult now?” which would just be all the stuff noone ever mentions about being a grown up that’s not necessarily bad or good it’s just passed over and you have to discover it for yourself. I.E.

Science Time.
Due to a little thing called surface area to volume ratio, cutting up your delicious soaps (LUSH or otherwise…but definitely LUSH) into little bits to make them last longer doesn’t work.
A bigger chunk lasts longer.
I do often chop off a little bit for travelling though.

It’s round up time!

Saw in the New Year in Southampton, got nicely drunk, got back to the Nag’s about 3am for a couple of drinks and some merriment. I was so tired by that time we didn’t last long.
Manager at work went bye bye. Everything went crazy.
Went to the Green Hero meeting in Poole. Fun! Got enthused about the environment again.
